The Kannur Lok sabha constituency in Kerala was formed from the 6th Lok Sabha election held
in 1977.
The LDF won the seat 3 times
In 1980,the Congress faction led by AK Antony was with the CPM-led LDF.
K Kunhambu of the Antony Congress won the election.Before the next election,Antony group
returned to the Congress(I).
Mullappally Ramachandran of the Congress(I) won the Kannur seat in the 8th,9th,10th,11th and
12th Lok Sabha elections.
Further, AP Abdullakkutty of the CPM won the seat in the 13th and 14th Lok sabha elections.
Interestingly,the MP is now out of CPM and is supporting the UDF!
Briefly,whoever wins the kannur Lok sabha seat as an LDF candidate further go to UDF!!

CONGRESS AND 15TH LOK SABHA ELECTION
The Indian National Congress was split in the year 1969.It was not in power at the centre in 1979.In the election conducted in 1989 the party lost power.Again,in 1999 the Congress lost power. Will the party fail in 2009?
The Congress has so far lost power in 5 Lok Sabha elections.Will it be defeated for the 6th time in the 15th (1+5=6) Lok sabha election?
Out of the above mentioned five,the three were:-6th,9th and 12th Lok Sabha elections.The next number in the series is 15!

MY PREDICTION ON NEHRU FAMILY STILL RELEVANT
Indian voters will be casting their votes soon in the 15th parliamentary election.
I am reproducing here with my two predictions carried in THE NEW INDIAN EXPRESS DAILY dated May 17 and June 7,1999.I think that the points related to Nehru family(Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi) are still relevant
NO 13 lucky for Atalji!
Kochi:The number 13 has scared the life out of many.But it seems to have a saving grace as far as Prime Minister Atalji is concerned.This interesting find comes from Mr MK Damodaran who is passionately involved with numerology.His studies into the science of numbers have proved that 13 is not unfortunate for Atal Behari Vajpayee.Here are a few of his findings:
